2015 Mercury 90hp 4 Stroke ECM 8M0083209.
I purchased a just-arrived ECM under the advice of a local boat mechanic. When that did not fix the issue, and $2500 dollars later, a Mercury certified mechanic informed me the original ECM was outstanding and the alternator I purchased off Amazon was the issue.
So since I had opened the ECM, I am unable to return it. I kept the brand-new ECM and this is my original ECM. This ECM has around 200hrs on it. Gave me no issues and has been checked by a certified Mercury mechanic. Any other questions, let me know.
